Get to know White Whiskers Senior Dog Sanctuary
White Whiskers Senior Dog Sanctuary, a compassionate nonprofit dedicated to providing loving homes for senior dogs, is new to the Akron area. Polla Milligan will share the inspiring story behind the sanctuary, its mission, and the heartwarming work being done to give older dogs a second chance at life. Lite refreshments. All welcome.

Community Game Night & Pot Luck Dinner (Copy)
Bring a dish to share and your favorite board or card game, (or just bring yourself!) There will be something for everyone, from classic games to new favorites. It’s a great way to enjoy fellowship, some laughter and some delicious food with friends and neighbors. All ages welcome! Come hungry, come ready to play and come ready to connect.

Boy Scout Spaghetti Dinner
Mark your calendars! Troop 559 invites you to their legendary Boy Scout Spaghetti Dinner, a beloved tradition filled with great food, fellowship, and fun.
Come enjoy a delicious homemade meal while supporting our local scouts. It’s a community favorite you won’t want to miss! Bring your appetite and your friends—see you there!

New Adult Bible Study: The Growing Points Star
We’re excited to launch a new adult Bible study series, The Growing Points Star! This study is designed to help us deepen our faith, explore Scripture more meaningfully, and discover how God is at work in the everyday moments of our lives.
Whether you’re new to Bible study or have been on the journey for years, this is a welcoming space to grow together in Christ. Join us as we reflect, share, and support one another in faith. All materials provided.

Children’s Sunday School Begins!
We’re excited to offer a special Bible study time just for kids during our worship service! After the Children’s Moment, children are invited to exit the sanctuary and join our caring leaders for an engaging, age-appropriate lesson filled with stories, crafts, and games that help them grow in faith and understanding of God’s love.
This is a joyful space where kids can explore the Bible in a fun and meaningful way while parents continue in worship. We look forward to seeing your child there!

Back to Church Sunday
It’s time to come together! Whether you’ve been away for a while or never visited before, Back to Church Sunday is the perfect time to reconnect, renew your faith, and rediscover community.
Join us for a morning of uplifting worship, warm fellowship, and genuine community connection

Yard Clean up
Grab your gloves and join us for Yard Clean-up Day! On Saturday September 13th we will be sprucing up the grounds: pulling weeds, trimming bushes, and tidying up flower beds. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Bring tools if you have them, and help us keep our church grounds looking beautiful! Thanks for your help!

Grandparent Sunday
Join us as we celebrate Grandparent Sunday on September 7th. During our 9am worship service, we will take time to honor and give thanks for the love, wisdom, and faith of grandparents in our lives and in our church family.Bring your grandparents grandchildren, or special loved ones. All are welcome for this joyful celebration!

Organ Concert
Celebrate the restoration of the church’s historic pipe organ. Three guest organists Debby Clark, Patricia Payne, and Mark Niewiemski, will bring the newly restored instrument to life with a moving program of classical organ music and sacred hymns. Fellowship and refreshments to follow.
