Join us for Sunday worship at Akron First United Methodist Church! Our service is a gathering place for neighbors as we seek to share the heart of Jesus from the heart of Akron, our worship sends us back into our village to love boldly, serve joyfully, and care for those around us. Whether you're exploring faith, returning to church, or searching for a Christ‑centered community committed to compassion and inclusion, you’ll find a place here. Children's Sunday School
Children's Sunday School
Children gather weekly for their own kind of spiritual growth. Together with friends, they learn the stories of the Bible through crafts, games and fun activities.
Children are welcome to attend worship service at 9am with you and leave for Sunday School after the Children’s moment. Or, drop your children off for the fun at 9am and join us for worship or enjoy a coffee in the Fellowship Hall.
Sundays 9-10am. Classroom is in the Education wing upstairs.
Adult Bible Study
Sundays at 10:20 - 11:00am
Each Sunday after worship, adults are invited to gather for a relaxed and welcoming Bible Study. We share fellowship, explore a variety of studies throughout the year, including seasonal topics, and enjoy lively, meaningful discussion that helps us grow in faith together.
Whether you’re new to Bible study or have been part of one for years, there’s a place for your questions, your insights, and your voice. Come join us as we learn, connect, and deepen our walk with Christ.
